what bankruptcy covers

What demands will be deleted from bankruptcy in Canada?
I have played for 2 years before bankruptcy. Previously, I was money owed to family member, now threatening legal action, to recover the money owed. (Nice, eh is?) My question: if they would not launch legal action, our bankruptcy cover these debts? I know that we were not allowed to pay the family back in our bankruptcy, because this is preferable, so I would assume that the Family members have seen the same as the other creditors, but I'm not sure. Thank you!
