At the beginning of the bankruptcy process the debtor's financial status, such as compiling data about the sources of income, large financial transactions in the last two Years, monthly living expenses, debts (secured and unsecured), and details of the property from him. This should include all assets and property, including real estate. Tax returns for the last two years, property deeds in the real estate, car / s titles and documents to be given for all other loans are also required.
Once this information is compiled, a lawyer can then determine which property exempt from seizure on the basis of Michigan's Liberation Statutes. Either the individual or the appointed lawyer shall file a petition, and fill in some other forms of District Bankruptcy Court
