search bankruptcy

Filed bankruptcy 2 years ago, just found out 1 account wasn’t taken off. What to do?
It was filed in West Palm Beach. I have been searching all day but can’t find the name of the court it was filed through.
The collection company said I would have to get documentation to prove it before they will drop the account.
Am I taking the right steps here? Also, would anyone happen to know who or what to contact so I can get a copy of my bankruptcy filing?
Hi. Go to the Federal Court House (that’s where your bankruptcy was filed) in your city. There you can get access to the PACER filing system where you can access your case information. You need to send the collection agency a copy of your discharge order. Also, if you haven’t, you need to request a copy of your credit report from ALL three bureaus and make sure that all of the creditors listed in your your bankruptcy show that the accounts were included in bankruptcy. If not, just inform the bureaus that the accounts were included in bankruptcy and they will correct your credit report. This is a very important step in helping rebuild your credit. Hope this helped.
