property taxes and bankruptcy

property taxes and bankruptcy
Last year, we filed a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy abandon our property. Do we still have to pay the taxes for them?

The reason I ask, because the Mortgage filing attorneys maintain a "movement for more" per month. It's been almost a year since we moved. They still have not excluded on the homepage. We received a letter from the municipality stating that our name is still on the property, and we had to keep the grass and maintenance or they would do it for us and invite us. Now I am concerned that we then also responsible for taxes on a home that we were in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The house was annexed and the property taxes doubled. What can we do? At the moment there are no taxes on the property. New bills do not go until August 2007. Can they still ask ourselves, after all this time? If this were not the mortgage company holding the lien / deed be responsible? You can not try to garnish my wages can they do? I do not live or work in the same community, but I live and work in the same condition.

Hello. Any property tax payable amount will be dismissed if the bankruptcy is completed. You are still receiving information on how you are still the rightful owner, appears before the foreclosure. The best approach would be for the Mortgage Bank are to keep a file motion to remove the property from the bankruptcy, so that they can start foreclosure proceedings lift.
