Divorce in Alabama … Questions?
I am submitting a do-it-yourself divorce is not contested in Tuscaloosa, AL. I know the charge and have all forms. My husband and I have not agreed with what our single asset class, our vehicle, and the bankruptcy. My question is, if I at 31 July file, I would be able to move to another state and marry in October? Please, no judgmental comments like you do not know the personal aspects. Just FYI, I have 'm in AL, is my spouse with me when I so file it is going to sign the papers the same time I do.
Alabama has the required 30 day waiting period after submission. That means you must wait is made 30 days after the date of the divorce (July 31) before the divorce is final. Wait to receive until the final divorce decree, before you get married again just to ensure you are legally divorced.
