I want to file for bankruptcy?

I am interested to know a little about bankruptcy and the laws. I currently do not have a house and no other assets (I never). However, I charge-off and other inquiries have a negative on my credit card, where I am not able to pay someone expect my current electricity bill. I wonder if I should even bankruptcy (Chapter 7), since all debts are old and tall and I have not paid in all of his years. Also, how would it affect me with a new car loan … I would have handed over the car? Have you taken some time in a waiting state from bankruptcy after a divorce file (we had nothing in common) and how much Chapter 7 usually cost in Ohio? I know that bankruptcy is the last option to be and I have no options – I can not do something now, so what's waiting for a 5-10 years … at least I know I can be there then! All positive responses and comments are welcome!
