Can creditors sue us under Chapter 7?
We filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last year and it was in December raced in 2009. We had a water softener / Filter system that we 'as' keep our court papers listed in. Under the expert advice of our attorney, we decided to support this Claim and was to pay for it. Our bankruptcy was discharged and is now suing the company Softener us for the cost of the system. The company is a lawyer, according to which a Lien was put on the fabric softener, and for this reason, they can sue us for the remaining loans. Can they sue us for the balance, although the Debt was discharged? We have never signed a confirmation agreement. they can even sue if we did not confirm?
Listed as they keep, so that they will sue for the balance. ~
