Corvette is getting the AXE … say, is it not …?
Insiders at GM say the Corvette is not about 2012, and all R & D for the future Models quietly closing shop … why? The Division has no money because the product is a "picture" manufacturers, no $ $ $ maker. Come 2016, it would be have also made … unless 36MPG is about 6000 pounds pork (such as the Hummer), it is not for an exemption. If you think this will not happen 2 years ago GM bankruptcy (now on the taxpayer cent) was also an impossibility.
