healthcare bankruptcy

Are the car companies problems caused by the unions? What is the cost of spiraling health care?
Most are of the opinion that unions destroy the profits of car manufacturers and making them on the brink of bankruptcy. There is little to no discussion about health care costs with the Workers who are connected into the thousands of dollars per car. How much does it cost to do the problems with car manufacturers? Please answer the intelligent, not glib with "political" Answers. "Reason" and "frank" well thought-out answers, thank you for contributing!
I think it's not quite the unions Fault, but I think that without the unions in the way cars are much more competitive than their Japanese counterparts will be available. I also agree with those who think that Unions to become weaker say. In my opinion, they are stronger every year and every member to register them, do not have the 100 from political lobbyists They mention on their wage and salary. The unions were initially created to serve the workers, with little to no benefits for the actual union Administrators. Now the blade is has turned, and to keep their cozy administrative tasks, union heads to find out how companies for more benefits Year to year, bilk, until we reach the mess we have today (ie, not paying workers)
