Can I register my car if I insolvency?

I know there are some rules about how much your car can be worth it. We have not really expensive cars. Saturn four years old and an 8-year-old sunfire. We need decent cars to get to work, plus we have kids. If I file for bankruptcy, courts are allow us to keep this?
