Actually, even though you have no assets, you are not quite "Judgement proof" you can not send you to prison for not paying their debts. But what they can do, you're out in civil court. The judge orders you to pay the debt. If you can not comply, then Bam! they get you for contempt of court, which means you could go to jail.
