federal income tax bankruptcy

federal income tax bankruptcy
Bankruptcy Will take them both federal and state tax refunds?

My husband and I had a terrible year last year and ended with the bankruptcy file. When we first said we would probably lose our tax first, we were not worried because we thought it would be very small because we had hardly a penny earned throughout the year anyway. But when I start I have a file that we have Earned Income Credit, for we have 2 children. It looks like we have a very good Yield getting now. We really need the money that we receive from it. We still have almost no income, my husband is only an hour to earn 9.90. It makes me sick that I lose $ 5000, which we need urgently. We live in Utah, it's something we can do to try to be able to keep him. And they both take the federal and your state is? (Please do not judge us for the bankruptcy, we do not have any stupid purchases only lost profits and had to end up living on credit cards and thought it would be better the next month.)

When you have had your meeting of creditors and receive your discharge, you keep your refunds.
