Are you responsible for a code enforcement violation on a property that was given to a divorce and bankruptcy?
Are you responsible for a code violation ticket a property that was given to the other spouse in a divorce and is included in a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, and has been excluded? Also, I'm still responsible, even though I have all the document evidence of the above? Who really owns the property?
If you are still on the deed (in the Title), you are. If it is excluded, it should be a crime in the bank or in whom bought the property. You can still get as an owner of record with an agency to be listed somewhere. Return it to them with the new owner information when it really counts.
