Is my husband responsible for Credit Card Debt incurred prior to the date of marriage?
We got married in California, now living in Wisconsin. I have credit card Debts incurred before marriage. I lost my job, we moved to Wisconsin, because the cost of living was cheaper, but I still can not afford to have my credit card payments and will probably sign up for one kind of bankruptcy. Is my husband responsible for my fault. This is most likely to lead to divorce him to me. I understand that this is my Fault is and I feel very bad that my inability to influence it could pay him negatively.
