dismissal bankruptcy

What does this mean legal notice?
My father has a bankruptcy, and he had this in the mail. I intend to ask the attorney means that I am worried and they want to know earlier. U.S. Trust (the plaintiff) against John Doe (the defendant) This litigation has been inactive for more than 6 months. MLBR 7055-2 provides for dismissal of the charges for not more than 6 months. This court will dismiss this adversary proceeding w / out further notice ….. Does this mean that the lawyer was not its job?
So if it has this thing to the courts attention has not taken action mos, in 6th and according to a law or MLBR 7055-2 has past a deadline for action and was dismissed and there will be no further notice. Hope that helps and also went in your favor ….. Who, and it sounds like the applicant is sitting duff on her!
