second chance financial credit repair?

I'm trying to fix my credit card, and I wanted to know if second-chance finance company is the one good to help me. I heard it in 97.1 Free FM in Los Angeles, CA,

Sorry, you cannot delete your bad credit history. At least not legitimate. I know someone who went one of these places, and apparently they have somehow managed to delete the items from their credit report. Of course, many years ago and I doubt if any of these companies are able to do much there, if something with your credit card, except take your money and go further into debt.
