UK consumer rights for faulty products bought over the Internet?
I bought a digital camera last week by a marketplace of seller Amazon.co.uk. Camera got on well, but I noticed that there was a rattling noise made when they moved that I found strange. Currys and Jessops Must have looked like and Camera and no one makes this rattle. I have contact with the seller and told me that I have the camera back and they will repair it and that it will last 28 days! Certainly can not be right because the camera is less than a week old and was at fault when they arrived. I can not afford to wait 28 days, since I'm leaving the country, since a Year in 2 weeks time (which I need for the camera). Does any expert know what my consumer rights in relation to this? If they do not replace if broken? Also, the fact that I pay off credit card make a difference? Thank you
Get back to the seller and tell him you do not have 28 days got it because you in the country in 14 days, for 12 months and now you want a replacement not a repair, I think that you are sending them the fine a new one.
