My friend and I have a court decision against us for an evacuation. Can he file bankruptcy? I must be guilty?
If he is able to add bankruptcy the court decision on his own, I expect that to persuade the creditors to make me responsible for the entire amount. I am then able to him again bring them to justice so that he is for his half?
I hate to hear that you go through this situation. If your friend is bankruptcy successfully, his debts are paid to the landlord. Their debt to the landlord remains. If you are liable, then you are responsible for the full amount of the appeal. You will not be able to sue him for the amount you are liable for. This is why so many people log in bankruptcy after a divorce, one or both previous Spouse to stop paying joint debts and none of them can pay for all of it on your own.
