If I file for bankruptcy overseas and I have a consumer credit card there, will it affect my credit here?
If I need to file bankruptcy in a country, say australia or new zealand, and I’m living in Europe, if I had a VISA or Mastercard I owed money on, does it affect any banking services I use in Europe?
I use a VISA debit card in Europe at the moment.
And also does VISA share its credit report worldwide? I don’t seem to have any credit history in Europe as I’ve only lived here a few years. Will the bank tell them I am overseas and will it affect any VISA cards I could use here?
