my husband decided he no longer wanted to be married so he divorced me. ?

We had been married 25 years, I am 60 he is 65. He left me with all the credit card debts, they are in my name and this is not a community property state, so I am responsible for them. In the divorce he is to pay for his debts and me for mine. I can not pay 30,000 dollars worth of credit card debts. Any suggestions. I thought of bankruptcy because I am already three months behind.

What a jerk! you’re better off without him. Bankruptcy should only be used in extreme cases but 30 thousand dollars is pretty extreme. You might want to explore that option, and if you’re going to, start asap. It’ll stay on your credit for 10 years.
