Has anyone had a girl on her car, filed for bankruptcy, and they never came to take the car?

The Credit Union is in Colorado (with the lady at by car) and my lawyer says he doubts they would take it if I did not pay them because we live in ct and they are a very small credit union. Has anyone had this experience? Thanks

Never in your situation. You need to decide whether or not you trust your lawyer here. I would not go back to Connecticut, to give them the car or anything, but if they have a message to ask you to release the car back and give you instructions what to do, you must decide whether you go to follow through. This is a moral decision. However, if you said that the Credit Union on bankruptcy and did not touch on the car, then keep it.
