I have a very unusual, and terrible financial mess and need help. Can anyone advise me?

I need someone, some white, what they talk about me give financial advice. I am a senior citizen and everything went to hell in a handbasket. I'm not very good and the stress is more than I deal with can. I can not do this anymore. I do not need people to see me like an idiot because I'm in such a mess. It was quite a long list of things that had many I have no control. I have many unusual situations and problems that I need help. We should have declared bankruptcy years ago and we have this mess by now have, but we did not and now I'm not sure if it's the best thing to do for a number of reasons. But something has to change.
