If a couple divorce and bankruptcy, the first pass, or would it matter either way?

This is in view of the separation of properties / Marital assets and debts. If one spouse bankruptcy first give an unfair advantage over the other vs. when they first file for divorce?

File bankruptcy first. With this case, the debt is not a problem to be within the divorce. Even when debt denominated in divorce and the debtor later files bankruptcy can try the other party, argue that such debts should not be Not A, in the discharge as to create in this manner you so wish.
