bankruptcy paralegals

Each filed bankruptcy right before foreclosure?
I am against foreclosure and are preparing to file for bankruptcy. My question is, what is the ideal time to File? My paralegal told me to within a few days before the date of sale of the home file, and that would be me to buy at least 2 more months at home. Hat anyone done this and it is the best way to go about it? PS If you are going to make sarcastic comments or tell me what am I a bad person, to save it. I have on very hard times and am not only trying to get a free ride. Thank you
I filed BK of two months before the sale of my house. It is a stay of the Survey on the mortgage. If you are behind your mortgage is paid in the lender with the documents to the stay, lift, would more than likely. My BK was discharged in July. Just this week we received a letter from our lender to give us three options to consider. I do not know the foreclosure in the area concerned, that you live, but homes are not sold at auction here I would discuss this again with a lawyer to be certain about the best time to file. Good luck. I know that this is not easy.
