Has my credit card expire civil action because it is no longer here in the courts?

18 months ago I was was to blame for a credit card, I have quickly filed an answer and threatened to file for bankruptcy and months passed 18 and the lawyer never initiated a court date .. The court said the case is not in the database .. I have the legal review of newspaper notices and never further notice .. If the civil action expire (Prescription)?

Credit Cards they can sue you do not buy civil action criminal case. if you can prove that you have no assets, then application is dismissed.
