Charge from another state?
I currently live in NC and received a summons from my ex-wife, lives in Ohio. The charge will appear before court in relation for a loan to my ex-father-and I took in 2001. I have never received a letter from the company about the loan, to about $ 11,000, which I do not pay can be obtained ballooned. I need a response file with the court office in Ohio, within eight days. What should I do if I can not get to Ohio, required to charge. Should I just go on and register bankruptcy and start all over again. KM
