If I have more than the median income in my area, how can I know if I qualify for Chapter 7 bankruptcy?

I am confused as to as the means test works for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I'm making more than the median income in my area, but my debt is pretty big. My last 6 months the income was about 29K, but my fixed monthly debt to 4K. This is of food, gas, and all the other random expenses. In the past I was so good all over my monthly debt … but this number has significantly gone due to circumstances out of my control. I look forward to chapter Register 7 bankruptcy and have not been able to find useful answers online so far. I'm money and not able to pay my bills. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do not file for bankruptcy. It will ruin your life. Stop spending. Why would you spend more than you. You make 2 times the money I do, but I spend only including rent and bills of $ 1000 per month. I save almost a thousand per month. Stop spending money you do not have to get out of the hole deeper.
