Can a company that filed the bankruptcy has to hold providers of money for the services they provide to pay?

I have some wiring Jobs for this company, I received a letter from her lawyer saying that I have to pay again as $ 16,000 for this company. IS this legal? The Company applied for creditor protection under Chapter 11 bankruptcy. What can I do.
