Has anyone recently declared bankruptcy central NJ. Do you know the laws or any info. My husband and I have about 16,000 in debt and a sum of 60,000 a year. If all the debt be wiped? Do we pay something back? Can a good lawyer to recommend in my area to do this? Any info would be appreciated.

You have an income …. You can pay your debt back. Bankruptcy is not an option if you have the means, to pay your obligations. Find a local bankruptcy lawyer and set up a consultation. My bet is that you be told that you can not for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy to qualify.
