bankruptcy kit
Bankruptcy question?

Should I file my own chapter 13 with a kit I found space in the office supply? After all, I have all the details, I just have a legal Adler to sign? We have filed Ch 7 before, and their office messed up the paperwork for us. Now we want to know what to do on our own! They hardly something done!

As a lawyer, both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy does, I can tell you it is a very very bad idea to do that. First of all, no Lawyer with a brain will only sign off on your kit documents. The odds of them are really unlikely. Also, I would be shocked if the kit actually all the questions that come in a Chapter 13 expected. I've seen Pro SE Chapter 13 debtor in bankruptcy court, and it rarely goes well for them. Reasons to hire a Lawyer for your chapter 13: 1) No matter what your bad experience was before, there is no way to know enough about your responsibility, so that any regulations in relation to someone that it meet every week. 2) You want it to go well the first time, because if you file within a year an automatic stay only 30 days and a 3. Time there is no automatic stay. 3) You must ensure that you meet with the credit counseling and debtor education requirements 4) You need more tax returns and compile your last 6 months of income (proof) 5), when a motion file that you want to make sure that the answer is correct and did you have time, a unknown number of shows to make in court, if the lawyer you hire is paid to do that for you (and yes, pay the fee the lawyer are contained, which some of them to pay by your plan) 6) Are you really all that you owe to reveal yourself? This is the main reason people should not be without a lawyer file they tend to omit important information. Chapter 13 is much more work than a Chapter 7 (and a Chapter 7 under the applicable law is much more work than under the old Law). FYI a Chapter 13 is not better on your credit as a chapter-7 Some argue, is it the other way around. You shoot yourself in the foot when this without a lawyer . Do If you do not believe me, you can hard way.
