Bankruptcy and home ownership.?

My husband for bankruptcy (only him, not me) and we just got a letter from our mortgage company saying that we as are protected by the bankruptcy law they are entitled not, send us a bill. We are not in foreclosure and we are currently on our mortgage and he did not file bankruptcy at our house. What should we do. I do not want my payments come late and fall into foreclosure. The letter states that we could make voluntary payments. If these payments are actually on our mortgage or what happens to him. What should we do?
