bankruptcy home exemption

Joint property, bankruptcy partner wants w / a twist?
Two years ago, and two others bought a house, but left me out of the title and loans because of my credit issues. Now one of the owners must file for bankruptcy. We are willing to pay a substantial portion of our debt to their refinancing. My concern is that his One-third share of equity in the home, but when he goes to court I am concerned that the bank / creditor will ask why his involvement is not just and calling more money. He does not want a Homestead exemption, just cut his losses and move on. The Bank will issue or is it nothing to worry about? I have my receipts for payments on the Mortgage, even if I'm not on it. Does anyone know how much does a lawyer? Thanks
An attorney will cost less than what you lose. In court, they will be on his Half do, since there are only two names on the title.
