Can creditors place lien on your home or garnish wages in Hawaii?
I am from Texas, where credit card companies (unsecured debt) can not a lien on your house or seize property (unless purchased with said credit), so they do not even bother ever ruling against you. I know However, in NY credit card company can concretely a lien on your house, so they definitely a Judgement against you. We have so so off course and credit card statements are behind. Almost all are in collections. We believe we may be needed again on the track, and do not bankrupt yet. We travel to Hawaii for a moving Job, but I was wondering if anyone has any information or can help me, some online somewhere (I'm lost) on the rights of creditors.
