Protect tenants in Forclosure Act of 2009 … i rent a house in foreclosure and now they have filled for bankruptcy?

The new federal law was in May '09 passed and I had to figure out on my own, that this house was filled into foreclosure Nov. '08. Now the owner has filled for bankruptcy. I did not get the reference to them and when I turned to him and this law was not on my rent money he laid out a 3-day notice on my door and said he would show it to his lawyer. This law says he owes me 250.00 plus attorney fees. All I asked was 90 days in order to save my money and . move What happens next after filling bankruptcy? And he has the right to evict me?
