Question on exceptions to a Chapter 7 bankruptcy?

I had some months in a car accident in February of this, where someone hit me. After passing through the steps a car accident I found out that the other driver had no insurance and liability insurance was not I included uninsured motorist. adopted after a lengthy process I have the other driver to court where the judge granted me $ 2,020.00 for the vehicle with the tow bill. As the court date I have indicated that notified the woman who hit me for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I'm not familiar with the bankruptcy code and tried to pull it upward to her research, but it is very wide. Does anyone under any of the Bankruptcy Code if it is debt that they owe me not eligible for the exemption? Any information would be very grateful.

All debt except student loans are able to be discharged through bankruptcy. You must ensure that you make a claim against their property. As a Judgement , you should have a higher priority applicants on their property (directly behind the secured creditors that the first priority claim to the specific Assets used as collateral). I hope they have enough in assets that are not used in collateral to pay your claim. Good luck.
