Buy a house, sellers filed bankruptcy?

I am in the process of buying a house in Mississippi. The seller never told her agent that they filed for bankruptcy and that the house was included. My husband and I have a contract on the house. The seller asked for a little more time because it to her lawyer first had. We then find out that they to take it to her lawyer because she had filed for bankruptcy. Now we are told that a judge has to decide. What does the judge have to be and how long it normally? Technically, the offer has expired, because they do not meet acception or counter-offer period but we really want this house, and we are willing to give for a little while to wait for it.

You have already answered your own question … likely the judge will be the sale to provide the home because that is a believer that he knows to be paid in full. Just be patient and I will have a very strong feeling that all Go your way. Do not worry about the offer expiry date …. this is just a little formality, and you will most likely sign a new contract with new dates on them … b / c the judge did not cancel the contract, he signs off on the $ $ $ $ amount that it costs. I wish you good luck!
