2009 bankruptcy law changes
I am financially ruined ….. can anyone help ?????

I recently lost a trial lawyer and the other costs, according comes to me for legal fees and court costs. It was over $ 70,000. I was told by lawyers that if that happens, I could ….. File for Chapter 7 bankruptcy six years ago but I had to file Chapter 7th due to illness. Now I understand that the new bankruptcy law changed it to 8 years. So I can not tell me A file to 2009. SO compared to what happens when they get appeal? Will they come after my property, home and garnish my wages? Please help me how to mess out of this. Thanks.
